Coffee Time in Canterbury – Ask

Ask is an Italian themed restaurant in the high street.

Now morning coffee seems to have turned into lunch we thought Ask was worth a try.

The menu is standard Italian food- pizzas, pasta and salads. The helping are very large we didn’t manage to finish our meals even though we started hungry

We chose the two course lunch for £9.95. We went for my favourite, bruschetta, followed by one pizza and one spaghetti carbonara. Plus coffee of course. All very nice if not special.

  • Good location in the High Street.
  • The service was friendly but a little slow, but it was busy.
  • Seating was ok but a little cramped.
  • The coffee was nice.
  • The food was very tasty.
  • Reasonable prices.
  • The toilets were alright.

Verdict

Perfectly good Italian food at a good price but very near to Wildwood which we preferred.
