A Visit to a Millionaires Playground
On our South American cruise we knew we would not have much time in Uruguay but due to the strong winds we had even less time than we expected.

Coffee Time in Canterbury at Kaspa’s
Kaspa’s is very popular with teenagers so not our usual haunt. But a grandchild off school in need of a milkshake meant we had to go to the place with the most choice. Here you can get a milkshake made exactly as you want it from the huge variety of ice cream flavours and sweets in stock.
Georgetown at Last
The Georgetown Must Sees
First a drive out to the Kek Lok Si. The temple of 10,000 buddhas is on a hill outside Georgetown so the views are great.

Malaysia’s Cameron Highlands are a welcome respite from the heat in the lowlands. The main draw is the beautiful green landscape covered by tea plantations. There are commercial tourist attractions but they are very gentle and about tea or wildlife.
Wandering Around Malacca
Malacca is the ultimate tourist state and of course a UNESCO heritage site.
What to See in Kuala Lumpur
I’d have been happy spending several days just wandering around Chinatown but its a shame to not make the effort to see the rest of a city.
